(b) Compensation to Lam Woo

(c) Little,Adams & Wood's

$1,017,703.

Mr. Kwik also claims compensation in respect of ten

months delay caused by the alteration of design and

Mr. Fletcher admitted liability in respect of eight

months delay. No estimate seems, however, to have

made of what the amount of such compensation should

be, and no suggestion seems to have been made as to

how it should be computed. The actual figures given

above would also have to be checked and verified.

For example, Mr. Kwik may not have actually paid of

finally credited Lam Woo with anything like $100,000.

Again it is very probable that the original estimate

for the rubble mound wall would have been exceeded.

Unless, however, the cost of the rubble mound wall was

greatly underestimated the additional expense incurred
