My Lord,
With reference to Mr. Southorn's
confidential despatch of the 14th of March, 1930,
on the subject of the Trade Loan, I have the
honour to inform Your Lordship that notice has been
given to the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation in Hong Kong for a further repayment
of £10,000 on the 20th of June, 1930, thus reducing this Government's sterling liability to
£130,000.
