"RAY" REFLECTIVE SIGNS.
We have the honour to inform you that we have recent ly been appointed sole agents for Messrs. Mur-Ray Signs Ltd., Manchester, and in order to avoid any lengthy expla mati ons, we enc lose here with a pamphlet which is self-explanatory.
The "Ray" Sign is the latest advertising medium the signs being fitted with reflective lenses which reflect with remarkable brilliancy all approaching light, pa rti cula rly motor car headlights, and it affords a very efficient and economical means of warning to motorists at night in areas where roads are under repair, with no expense or necessity of using lights. The signs have a very attractive appearance by day.
The qualities of these signs show best in dark areas, and as the banks of roads, hillsides, etc., make most suitable sites, we beg to approach you with a view to as certaining if there is any pos sibility of our being granted permission to erectthese signa on such public property which akirts the roads in the New Territories, Shaukiwan, Kennedy Town, Aberdeen, Repulse Bay and other out-of-town points.
In further reference to the "Ray" Signs as warning symbols, we have the pleasure to offer to make a few "DANGER" and "ROAD UP" signs for your department, free of charge, as we confidently feel that they will give the utmost satisfaction, and we shall be very glad to receive your advices in this connection. We may mention that the various Municipal Councils in the United Kingdom use these signs extensively for this purpose, and they have expressed complete approval.
