development inevitably brings in its train certain factors which tend to destroy the simple beauty of rusticity, I am strongly opposed to granting facilities for the indiscriminate erection of glaring advertisements along the roads of the Colony. I have given instructions to this effect; but, of course, each individual application will be considered on its
merits.

Lordship should decline to intervene in respect of the matters referred to in the present memorial.
