on the subject of piracy protection in China.
letter in a similar strain has also been received
from the British Steam Navigation Company, Ltd.
My Lords propose to reply to both letters
in the terms of the attached draft, and I am to
enquire whether the Secretary of State concurs in
the terms thereof.
A similar letter has been sent to the War
Office.
