companies have communicated their acceptance of

Government decision to Admiralty. John Swire & Sons, e

Matheson & Company, Indo-China Steam Navigation Co., British India Steam Navigation Co., Canadian Pacific Railway Company. The companies urge that force should

be constituted as definite anti-piracy unit with the Commanding Officer and sufficient headquarters staff of officers and N.C.Os. seconded from time to time from

the Navy or Army. The companies also represent that while they are paying for military guards they should have some say as to number of men carried.
