bonour to inform you that the position is as follows.
2. His Majesty's Government in Canada bave acted
hitherto on the rincile that it is not ircumbent en
tram to prohibit tas export of limor to the united
obates and that it is for the United States Dovernment
to devise their own measures to prevent importstion

general, the Canadian Government have introluced a
number of minor measures assigned to sacist the United
