I read them through, and made a few very minor

amenamento. The Reports are all highly interesting.

They should each be printed for inclusion

in the Winterb tham Tour Conzidential wint Jories.

copies of the prints should then be circulated

to Members of the colonial survey Committee for

their observations (e.cept, of course, in the cLac

of Brigadier interbotham).

Departmento must, of course, decidc w at

taey wish to have cone with une Reports after they

are printed, but 1 agine that subject to uny

observations the colonial Survey Committee may mukke

(I do not imagine tiley vill have much to say),

the action will be to allow the Governments conce.ned

r、as noble time to make their observations on the

Reports (which, of course, have ben sent by

Brigadier @interbotham direct to thogo Jovernments);

and if those comments do not arrive by then to

send a short doo atch (in order to indicate that

tae Secretary of State is taking an interest in

the mutter) inviting their observations.

A copy of this minute is being placed

on all the files concerned.
