the receipt of your despatch No. 116 (5/52.C)dated
the 5th. of November 1929, and to forward herewith
a statement, drawn up by the Manager of the British
Section of the Kowloon-Canton Railway, of the wishes
of this Government in regard to the rehabilitation
of the Chinese section of that Railway. I shall be
glad if you will avail yourself of any suitable
occasion for bringing this statement to the notice of
the Minister for Foreign Affairs.
