With reference to your letter No. 72710/30 of the
23rd August, I am directed by Mr. Secretary Henderson to
transmit herewith copies of telegrams exchanged with Sir
Miles Lampson on the subject of the claims of the British
section of the Kowloon-Canton Railway in respect of the
suspension of through traffic.

Mr. Henderson concurs in Sir Miles Lampson's
recommendation that the claims should be tacitly dropped.
