to Marshal YEN SHAN and Marshal TENG YU HSIANG at TAI

to all Kuomintang Departments and Military and Civil Officers
in different provinces and districts and all public
associations.
CHEUNG CHUNG CHING (i.e. CHIANG KAI SHEK) has betrayed the principles of our Kuomintang, destroyed our Revolution,
massacred our comrades and treated our people tyrannously.
Indeed he is a sinner against our late President, a bane of
our Kuomintang, a common foe of our masses and a bad element in our National Revolutionary Armies. Our Central Executive
Committee being unable to allow all power in our Kuomintang
and Nation to be usurped and the National Revolution to be
hindered by him, issued a punitive manifesto in September
last, urging the revolutionary masses throughout the Country and all generals and soldiers of the National Revolutionary
Armies to drive him out. We, LI TUNG JEN, VONG SHIU HUNG
and CHEUNG FAT FUI, have been appointed to fulfil this mission and to protect the Kuomintang and save the Nation. I, CHEUNG FAT FUI, have marched my men to Kwangsi via. Hupeh and Hunan, and we, LITUNG TEN and WONG SHIU HUNG, have also reached
Kwangsi by round-about routes, and have gathered the troops which were formerly under our command, to do our utmost in
the enterprise. Now our armies coming from two directions
have united, and the first step is to march in an easterly
direction and take Canton in order to remove all obstacles,
