PREFACE.
A male nurse presenting himself for examination may be questioned on any of the subjects contained in this Syllabus, and in the Nurse's Chart attached to it.
It is intended that the examination shall be of a simple and practical character.
The examination will be divided into two parts. The first, or Preliminary Examina- tion, will cover the subjects of Elementary Anatomy, Physiology, and Hygiene, and will be taken by all nurses alike for the General Register. It is expected that the training for this period will as an ordinary rule last for 24 months, but the examination may be taken at any time after one year's training is completed.
This Final Examination will cover the remaining subjects of this Syllabus, and those included in the Nurse's Chart attached.
This examination may be taken at any time after the completion of the prescribed years of training provided that the first examination has been already passed.
