The proposals approved in 1924 have now been
varied to cover the amalgamation of the Sailors' Home
with the Missions to Seamen. Further, the original
site proposed for the new building has been

surrendered and a new site found, While it is apparently now contemplated that the Police Station
proposed to be built on the old site will occupy
a larger part of it, if not the whole.
I see nothing to object to in the present
proposals and think that we may approve.
