The Longitude of Vladivostock used above was

determined by one Scharnhorst from St. Petersburg, and is
obtained from the pamphlet mentioned above.
It must be noted that the final adoption of a
longitude of the Observatory is still under consideration, and that the above notes on the old Longitude are not official.
