A BILL
intituled
An Ordinance to amend the Maintenance Orders (Facilities
for Enforcement) Ordinance, 1921.
Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the
advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof,
as follows:-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Maintenance
Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Amendment Ordinance,
1929.
2. Sections 3, 4, 9 and 10, and sub-section (4) of
section 5, and sub-section (1) of section 6, of the
Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Ordinance,
1921, are amended by the insertion of the following words
immediately after the words "England or Ireland" wherever
those words occur in the said sections and sub-sections:-
"or in any British possession or any territory
"with reference to which a proclamation has been
"issued by the Governor under section 12,"

3. Sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Maintenance
(Facilities for Enforcement) Ordinance, 1921, is amended
as follows:-

(a) by the insertion of the words "or in any
British possession or any territory with
reference to which a proclamation has been
issued by the Governor under section 12,'
immediately after the words "England or
Ireland" in the third line thereof.
(b) by the insertion of the words "or in the
British possession or territory in question,
