With reference to your letter No.3363/1924 of the 5th September regarding the refusal of the Veterinary Director General to recognize certificates signed by Captain W. J. E. Mackenzie, the Colonial Veterinary Surgeon, for meats exported to Canada, I have the honour to enclose herewith copy of a letter from the Deputy Minister of Agriculture explaining the position of the Department in
