Sir,-
I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of
your communication of the 29th June, file No.3363/1924, in which you forward the names of lir. V. J. E. Mackenzie,
M.R.C.V.S., Colonial Veterinary Surgeon, and Captain M. J. Reidy, M.R.C.V.S., Assistant Colonial Veterinary Surgeon,
together with specimens of their signatures, and request that
their certificates be accepted in connection with the
importation of merchandise packed with products of the soil.
In reply I would say that I am adding Captain M. J.
Reidy's name to our authorised list, but that of Mr.Mackenzie
is not acceptable.
I am enclosing herewith copy of the Order, copy of
& sample certificate, and also copy of the circular letter
notifying importers and others that Captain Reidy's name has
been added to our authorised list in this connection.
