THE WAR OFFICE,
LONDON, S.W.1.
10
6th May, 1929.
24/Abroad/632 (C.1.)
Sir,
I am commanded by the Army Council to refer to
your letter No. M.4763/27 of 26th March, 1929, on the
subject of the provision of a combined Naval, Military and
Air Force Hospital at Hong Kong, and to state that They
agree that the question should be discussed by the Joint
Medical Services Committee, aided by specially co-opted
representatives of the Admiralty and war office, but do
not consider it necessary for the Air Ministry and Colonial
Office to be specially represented.
Arrangements are accordingly being made to convene
a meeting of the Committee on Wednesday, 22nd May, at 3 p.m.
in Room 266 at the War Office. Mr. R.G.C.Paterson, C.B.,
has been deputed to attend as an additional war office
representative, and I am to request that the Council may
be informed of the name of the officer appointed by the
Lords Commissioners of the Admir alty as their additional
representative for this meeting.
The Secretary,
ADMIRALTY.
I am, Sir,
Your obedient servant,
(sgd.) A.E.WIDDOWS.
