by another Ordinance so as to make it more consonant with the objects and principles of Ordinance No. 1 of 1923.
The proposed new section 24 makes any register kept under this Ordinance, and certified extracts, and photographs and finger prints taken for the purpose of any such register, admissible in evidence upon mere production. It also links up the photographs or finger prints with the entries in the registers by means of the serial numbers used.
WATCHMEN AMENDMENT ORDINANCE, 1928-
THE ATTORNEY GENERAL moved the first reading of a Bill intituled "An Ordance to amend the Watchmen Omance, 1928." He said: This Bill is rendered necessary by the oposed changes in the titles of some of the superior officers the Police Force. The matter was fully explained on introdution of the Police Force Bill. I beg to move the first reading,

'Objects and Reasons" for the Bill were stated as follows
This bill is rendered cocossary by the proposed changes in the vities of some of the superior officers of the police force. The details are given in the Objects and Reasons to the Police Force Amend- ment Bill which was read a first time on the 23rd September, 1929.
