(a) To obtain designs for a shed of the type and

dimensions shown on plan.

(b) To prepare specifications, and quantities, and

(c) to call for tenders for the supply and delivery

in the Colony of the steel work, roofing and

fittings. The foundations, assembling, woodwork,

flooring ( if not of a special nature) can be done

by the Public Works Department staff.

I would also request that alternative tenders be

obtained for a shed of half the specified length and in

respect to this stipulate that when designs are called for it

is specified that the necessary provisions be made for the

economical lengthening of the shed to its full size by

allowing for the taking down and re-erecting the doors and

the necessary amendments to the roof etc.,

VIII I am given to understand that this half length (the

other dimensions remaining the same) would meet the Civil

aviation requirements for the time being.

IX

The full sized shed as indicated on plan is similar

to the type "A" shed adopted to meet the Royal Air Force

requirements and priced in the schedule at £22,000.
