The
I have laid before the Lords Commi sai oners
of His Majesty's Treasury Mr. Helloway's letter of the
9th July 1929 (3/23467 (F.W.)), respecting the proposal
that a permanent hangar should be erected at the aero-
drome at Kowloon, Hong Kong, for use jointly by civil
and Air Force machines, in place of the temporary
matshed buildings now used.
In reply I am to request you to infom the
Air Council that My Lords concur in this proposal
subject to the conditions set out in the letter under
reply, including the division of the cost equally
between Colonial and Imperial Funds, and They authorise
provision being made in Air Estimates for 1930 for the
Air Ministry share, estimated at between $15,000 and
£16,000, to include slip-way communications, aprons, etc.
