GENERAL REMARES.

The development of Aviation in Louth China, both

Military and Jivil; is sufficient to warrant the attention

of all those connected with thins.

This development, unlike that of other countries,

has not taken the usual lines of an 'air force', and an

organisation to control commercial flying. The two branch-

es are hopelessly mixed up and it will be a long time befo

they separate.

Never-the-less steps are being taken to bring about

this separation, and every effort is being made throughout

the southern Provinces to develop both military and coR-

mercial aviation.

The future looks bright, and there is undoubtedly

a very large opening in hina for the passenger and mail

aircraft.

KWAN GYUNG

There is no doubt that Canton is the principle senter

of Aviation in South China, and that as development takes

place ite importance as an Aerial Port will be very con-

siderable.

At the present time all aviation is under the control

of The Canton Aviation Bureau, which is Commanded by General

Cheung Fai Jung.

The aerodrome is situated at Tai the Tan on the

outskirts of the City, it is 1000 by 700 yards, and has
