Member of Our said Legislative Council during Our Pleasure and according to the Provisions of Our Letters Patent
bearing date the fourteenth day of February, 1917, constituting the Office of Governor and Commander-in-Chief of
Our Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies or of any other Our Letters Patent adding to, amending, or substituted
for the same, and according to any Instructions from Us under Our Sign Manual and Signet relating to the said
Council and for the time being in force.
In dolitness WHEREOF Our trusty and well-beloved
By His Excellency's Command,
and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its
Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, hath by virtue of Our
Instructions to him in that behalf caused this Instrument to be sealed
with the Public Seal of Our said Colony, at Government House, Hong
