(e) Is there any definite class of case in
which a Royal Warrant of appointment should be
awaited ? This method of appointment was used in
the case of Mr. E.R. Hallifax: please see your
confidential despatch of the 31st of January, 1913.
(f) Should instruments of definitive
appointment be in the name of His Majesty witnessed
by the Governor, or should they be in the name of the Governor ? A copy of a printed form which has
been used here, but the authority for which cannot
be traced is enclosed.
