2. I found waiting me the report by Ir. R.. Henderson on his Cross Harbour Pipe Scheme, referred to in T. Corthorn' telegram of 6th October 1928, which had been submitted by the Director of Public Works a few days before. A copy of this report giving the full details of the scheme is enclosed herewith, but without plans, which will follow when codes are roady. The cost estimated at $300,000 is included in the estimate of the Ching Fun Valley scheme shown in Appendix VI... on page 110 of the Printed timetos for 1929. This scheme has been very strongly commended to me by the Director of Public Works.
3. On the 15th January I discussed the scheme
