I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt your despatch No.329 of 8th October, 1928, concerning the rates to be charged for wireless telegrams with which a copy of a letter from the General Post Office dated 18th September
was enclosed.
2.
I have not yet received a copy of the recommendations of the Imperial Wireless and Cable Conference to which reference is made, and shall be glad if this may
be furnished as soon as it is available. In your despatch No.140 of 24th April you indicated that it would not at that date be available for some little time, but from the enclosure to your despatch now under acknowledgment it would appear that its provisions are now generally known.
3.
I observe that the General Post Office
assumes the acceptance of the recommendations in question by His Majesty's Government, but it is not clear whether Colonial Administrations are equally bound.
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE
I have the honour to be,
Sir,
Your most obedient humble servant,
Wo.d. Southosh
Officer Administering the Government.
LIEUTENANT COLONEL L.C.M. S. AMERY, M.P.,
