4. With reference to the
last paragraph of the telegram,
Mr. Amery would like to be in a
position to explain to Sir Cecil
Clementi exactly what the
Universities Committee for the
assistance of Anglo-Chinese
studies is, and he would be glad
to receive further details of
this Committee.
