Work done by the Inspectorate of the Anti-
Japanese Boycott Society during the past year.
Yesterday the Inspectorate of the Anti-Japanese Economic
Boycott Society of all Classes of People in Kwangtung, made
a report at a general meeting on the work they have done
during the year past, and a copy was sent to all societies
and public bodies.
We now publish the text of the report below:-
Our Society is constituted of the Tung Mang Wui of
America, the Airmen's Society for the Salvation of the Country,
the Kwangtung Police Fellow Students Union, the Union of
Teachers of all Municipal Primary Schools in Canton, the
Kwangtung Educational Society, the Canton Office of the
Hong Kong General Labour Union and the Club of the Comrades
of the Hing Chung Wui appointed by election at the Representa-
tive Conference of all Classes. It was officially established
on the 5th July of the 17th year of the Republic (1928), and
met on that very day for the apportioning of work. The Air-
men's Society for the Salvation of the Country, the Union of
Teachers in Municipal Primary Schools in Canton, and the
Kwangtung Police Collegues' Union were elected Routine
Officers, and the Kwangtung Police Collegues' Union was also
appointed for the work of Chief Clerk. Also 2 officers were
employed in succession to reside permanently in the Society's
offices to look after the management.
Since the establishment of the Society 11 Ordinary
General Meetings and 12 Ordinary Committee Meetings have been
held. 46 Resolutions have been made, of which 38 have been
carried out, and the remaining 8 are held in abeyance. of the 46 resolutions made, the most important are as follows:-
