dated the 9th May I have the honour to inform you that on the 14th May, Teneral Chan Ming-shu had recovered sufficiently to leave hospital for a few hours and to lunch with me at Government House. T'ang Shao-yi (an ex-Premier of Chine) with his wife, Mr. Chu Chang-nien (Chinese Minister Designate to Norway and Sweden) and his wife (the daughter of T. ang Shro-yi), Sir Shou-son Chow
