As the regulations are to be revised, it might be well to bring clauses 10 (to be renumbered 8), which is in some respects obselete, up-to-date. It should run as follows:-
"Clause 8
If a scholar fails to present himself in due course for the examination held at the end of each year in a Faculty other than the Faculty of Medicine, or, being a student in the Faculty of Medicine, fails to present himself in due course for any part of any M.B., Examination, or if a scholar having entered for any of the examinations above mentioned, fails to pass the same, or if a scholar fails to carry out his studies to the satisfaction of the Dean of his Faculty, the Council may withhold any or all future payments in respect of his scholarship."

"The Board forwarded the following recommendations to the Council with reference to the payment of Examiners' fees in the Matriculation and Local Examinations, in reply to their request dated October 13th. 1922:-

b. that for the marking of scripts one-third of a dollar be paid for each script corrected in Arithmetic, Algebra, English Dictation, Biblical Knowledge and Drawing, and that half a dollar be paid for each script corrected in all other subjects.
c. that the minimum fee paid to an examiner who sets a paper be $20.
d. that in all Oral Examinations the examiner's fee be as follows.
i. Ten or less than ten candidates......$10
