University of Liverpool

Muspratt Laboratory of Physical

and Electro-Chemistry.

Since his graduation in 1921, Mr. R. A. Hill has carried

out research work in physical chemistry under my direction.

He has proved to be a very satisfactory research worker,

exceedingly painstaking, careful and reliable.

The work upon

which he has been engaged required very considerable skill, and

the fact that he carried it out to a successful issue is greatly

to his credit. On the results he has been awarded the M.Sc.

degree of this University, his thesis being commended by the

external examiner.

Mr. Hill is a man whom I can confidently recommend as an

exceedingly reliable and hardworking assistant. On personal

grounds he would make a very desirable member of any staff.

W. C. M. Lewis.
