My dear Ainsworth,
Herewith a copy of a letter which I have
written to Braine-Hartnell. You kindly agreed to
arrange for his medical examination. Would you do this
as soon as you get the cable from the Hong Kong
confirming the appointment, or even earlier. We do
want this young man as soon as possible and he seems
to have nothing particular to do here. If he could
leave before the end of this month, so much the better,
but he should not leave later than the beginning of
September.

about the post was rather vague and I rather think that
I understated the terms. You might send hit copy of the circular setting out the terms. They are precisely the same as those on which Trayes was recruited.
