My Lords are anxious to learn whether the
Colonial Government would prefer to complete the
preparation of the ground as a charge to Imperial Funds, or to hand it over in its present condition on the understanding that Their Lordships will arrange for the execution of the necessary work as soon as Parliament has approved of the expenditure of the funds required.
