PROPOSED ROUTES

It was thought that at the start only the

Hong Kong

Canton Route should be flown over, and that

extensions should come in due course.

They propose to investigate the possible extensions to Samshui, Shuihing, Wuchow, Sunochow, Waichow and Swatow, and as soon as conditions permit it is hoped these routes will come into operation.

There is no objection to the machines being sent on any other routes or on taxi services, provided the Administrators of the Company are satisfied that such flights are to the advantage of the Comphy.

MAILS.

The Commissioner of Posts was interviewed, he

has already ordered that statistics be prepared as to weight of various mails.

He was under the impression that an air mail

would be a good thing, and he offered every assistance.

GENERAL.

The importance of an early start was stressed by all the Canton Officials, and they are sending Gener- al Chang, Chief of the Canton Air Force, to Hong Kong on Friday 23rd March 1928. (He will arrive Thursday

night according to present arrangements)

It is sincerely hoped that the Company can be

formed during the next few weeks, that the machines can

be ordered by the British Administrators of the

Company by cable, and that flying shall start in

September 1928.
