On the 3rd January, 1928, Katz & Co. paid into their

account the reasury cheque for $86,965.33 which was

presented at the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation
and duly honoured.
On the 4th January Katz & Co., drew out of its account $85,900.00 and on the 7th January $500.00 leaving in the account a balance of $617.78.

On or about the 4th October, 1927, a man who gave
the nae of Yeung Tak Lee called on the Compradore of the Equitable Eastern Banking Corporation and said that he
wished to open a current account for a firn of the name
of Man Lee Coy.
He stated that he was sole proprietor of the firm
and was a Government Contractor. He gave his address as China Building, 6th Floor.
He was given a deposit book and opened the account
with a cheque for $2,500.00 drawn by Katz & Co.
In 1927 the only further payment made into this
account was a cheque for $500.00 drawn by Katz & Co. on
the 8th December.
A considerable number of small payments were made out
of the account during 1927 and four payments of over $100.,
