to Shanghai to look after the interests of this

Government in the matter, and he has been very

successful not only in having secured Yeo's

return to Hong Kong for trial, but also,by

exhaustive enquiries, he has been able to locate

large sums of money standing in the name of

Yeo and his wife in various banks in Shanghai

and America. Steps have been taken to prevent

the withdrawal of these moneys pending further

action and I have strong hopes that the ultimate

loss may as a result of Kr. Hazlerigg's energy

and discretion be reduced to a much smaller sum

proceedings against the Bank until the

completion
