The outstanding application for permission
to recruit labour for the Sarawak Coal
Mines may therefore be granted, provided
you are satisfied with the conditions
of employment, and your action in
permitting recruitment of Chinese labour
by the Oort-Borneo Maatscheppig, reported
in your despatch Confidential (1) of
20th October, 1927, is approved.
