Details of Mr. Hamada's project in fishery.

1. Personal Standing:-

He originally served as a captain on merchant ship. Now he is going to start fishery. For that purpose he came lately to Hong Kong..

The Capital allotted to the project at present is about Y70.000, of which Y60.000 is consisted of the two boats now in the harbour.

2. Method of fishery.

Draw a net by two motor-boats in the high sea, to catch fishes.

The net is of one square inch, having five and half nots in five inch length:

The boat is of nearly fifty gross ton, being equipped with semi-disal engine of 80-100 horse power.

The fishery is to be worked in the high sea within the sphere semi-circle in distance of nearly 400 miles from Hồng Kong.

3. Business in Hong Kong.

Making Hong Kon as the basis of the work, he will

supply the boats with utensils, food, provisions, and water, all indispensable for carrying out fishery in

the sea.

He will land the fishes from the boat, and sell them to local dealers in the market.

He will settle in Hong Kong to look after the business. He will strictly observe the laws and regulations of the Hong Kong Government.

He has no objection to co-operate with any British or Chinese businessmen, interested in fishery.

Nearly three times per two months, the boats are expected to come into the Harbour, with fishes on board, which is expected to amount approximately to forty thousand kins.

His plan is to expand the enterprise gradully to the extent of using ten boats regularly.
