We have much pleasure in submitting herewith our
Tender for this work. We desire to state that we should require
payment for our Plant against Bills of Lading, such Plant to be
valued by an independent party, and the payments so made to be
deducted from the monthly certificates pro rata with the value of
the work performed and to be performed by such plant.
There are certain Clauses in the Contract which
might be interpreted so as to impose conditions too onerous
for us to accept without modification.
If our Tender is accepted we shall submit details
showing the procedure which would be adopted for the carrying
out of the work: all pipes to be supplied by Messrs: Stewarts
and Lloyds and to their Specification 88788.
