BRITISH SECTION,
No.
Manager's Office, Kowloon,
Dated, 7th December 1911.
I have pleasure in testifying that Mr. Clark joined
the Railway as my Head Clerk in April 1910 and was employ-
ed principally in getting out the various traffic forms for
Open Line Working and in training the Chinese staff in
Station Working and Accounts. He was appointed Traffic
Inspector in October 1910 and after r. Menagh's departure
he has been working as Traffic Superintendent under me.
Mr. Clark has carried out his duties satisfactorily through-
out.
In his dealings with the Public he has shown unvary-
ing courtesy and willingness to oblige and I trust that
as soon as Permanent Appointments are made in the Traffic
Mr. Clark may obtain one.
