been known to me since he attended school. During the time I was in
charge at Rothes as Stationmaster he served under me as a learner
and afterwards as Booking-clerk. He left Rethes on being promoted to a mere important situation on the same system and as I have never been out of touch with him I can with confidence recommend him to any
one to whom he may offer his services.
