This is to certify that Mr. William G. Clark was
in the service of this Company from 2nd September, 1896 until
27th October, 1906.
During that period he acted as a clerk in the
Goods, Passenger, Parcels and Telegraph Departments at stations and
thus acquired a very intimate knowledge of a Railway Clerk's duties.
His work was performed at all times in a very
careful and efficient manner and he proved himself thoroughly honest,
steady and reliable.
He left the Company's service of his own accord
with the intention of going abroad, and I feel sure that he will
discharge the duties of any position he may undertake to fill in
future in a thoroughly satisfactory manner.
