It is very desirable that my stay in

Hong Kong should not be unduly prolonged and I shall

therefore be glad to have your concurrence in or

remarks with regard to the proposals I have put

forward, at a very early date. It may not be

possible to give a decision at once regarding the

acquisition of the additional strip of land to the

North of the aerodrome but I should at any rate be glad

to have an indication of your views on the matter

before I leave. Should you wish to discuss any

points further my time is at your disposal for this

purpose.
