With reference to the letter from the Colonial
Office, No. 52752/28 dated 8th May 1928, I am directed
by the Secretary of State for India in Council to forward
copy of a letter from the Government of India and to
suggest that, if the Secretary of State for Foreign
Affairs concurs, an enquiry may be made as to the
details of the 5 chests of Indian opium stated to have
been confiscated by the Macao authorities.
