On November the 4th the following pirates from the
S.S. "Irene" were identified (by photograph) by the officers and crew of the S.S. "Yat Shing" as having taken part in the piracy of that ship on the 30th August, 1927:-
(1) TSE WA (), native of PAK MONG FA () market (6th Defendant).
Identified by Captain Hodgson as the pirate that had a towel round his head and spent most of his time on the bridge.

Yin Ching Kwong, Quartermaster.
Shiu Yick, Quartermaster.
Chi Ching Foo, Boatswain.
(2) CHAN HEI (PR), native of PAK MONG FA

Identified by Captain Hodgson as the pirate who stole the ring from his finger. Also by Mr. Harris, 2nd Officer, as the pirate who
was on the bridge and who kept on directing
him the steer for CHI LANG POINT.
(3) LAU HING(), native of SHEK CHENG
village, NIM SHAN(), about 2 miles distance from NIM SHAN () (1st Defend-
ant).
Identified by Captain Hodgson as the pirate
who threatened him while walking on deck (aft)
"Ti U Nei". Captain Hodgson says and said that this man was the tallest man
amongst the pirates.
