"Tean" Piracy 27.5.28.
We refer to our recent conversation in
connexion with the piracy of above vessel and now
enclose two copies of Captain Histed's report,
also a summary of losses sustained.
We shall be obliged if you will kindly
submit the question of our claim to H.B.'s Minister
in Peking and advise us in due course whether or not
our claim can be preferred against the Chinese
Government.
