of two Goverment submarine cables

1926, and this Government's claim
for damage in respect of repair
and depreciation.

I see no sufficient
reason for withdrawing the latter
part of the claim, which appears
to have full justification; and if
you concur in that view, I would
ask that the Foreign Office be
movod to make the necessary
representations to the United States Government.
