If Sir Austen has in mind to indicate in his reply to

Miss Wilkinson whether briefly or at length the policy of His

Majesty's Goverment, Mr. Ormsby-Gore would reply to r. "axton

quite briefly on the lines of the attached draft, if the Foreigr

Office sees no objection to his replying in this manner.
