requested that the list should be very carefully checked with the original figures and any corrections made in red ink.

It is believed that since List A. was compiled, a value for the Co-ordinates of Mt. Stenhouse (Lamma Island) and possibly other points has been computed.
If this is so, would you please submit a list of such co-ordinates, stating which value for Kowloon Observatory they are dependent upon.

With regard to the trig. stations established by Lieut. Wace, would you please inform me whether the work of concreting in and making permanent these points has been put in hand.
It has been the invariable experience of the Geographical Section that, in cases where the trig. points have not been permanently marked, much extra work and expense has been entailed at a later date when, possibly, extensions to the work are required, and it is, undoubtedly, in the interests of the Colony itself that this point should not be overlooked.
