An Ordinance to amend the Promissory Oaths
Ordinance, 1869.
[1st April, 1927.]
Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Promissory Short title. Oaths Amendment Ordinance, 1927.
2. Sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Promissory Amendment Oaths Ordinance, 1869, is amended as follows:-
of Ordinance No. 1 of 1869,
(a) The following words are inserted between the s. 9 (1).
word"Councils and the word "shall" in

the first line thereof :-

and the Deputy Clerk of Councils".
() The following words and signs are inserted between the word "Councils and the word

"in in the third line thereof :-
"(or Deputy Clerk of Councils)."
3. Part II of the Schedule to the Promissory Oaths Amendment Ordinance, 1869, is amended by the substitution of of Ordinance "The Marine Magistrates" for "The Marine Magis- trate".
